In a very full week with classes in the shop and in the field, you'll be troubleshooting AC & Heat Pump systems and controls, testing compressors, evacuating, charging, recovering the refrigerant, testing and adjusting indoor air flows, and evaluating and testing systems. You will understand how heat pumps work and you will install a mini-split system.

This is a no-nonsense course for students wishing to jump-start their careers in HVAC. During the class, you will complete service calls on the shop's package and split system AC/ Heat Pumps and install a mini-split heat pump.  

The class is 90% hands-on training.
