Yes. Classes run on twelve workbench training stations in the Brier shop with real furnaces, heat pumps, controls, and refrigeration components. Students troubleshoot live equipment rather than sit through lectures.

Do you offer EPA 608 certification on site?

Yes. Headmaster Ben Engelking is a registered Ferris State / ESCO refrigerant-handling proctor, so EPA 608 prep and testing run on site in Brier. You take the exam in the same shop where you trained.

Yes. Upon completing the required Tasks for Success for a class, you receive a Certificate of Completion for that course. Grading is PASS / NO PASS, with each task demonstrated to the instructor before sign-off.

Who teaches the classes?

A small, field-seasoned staff led by Ben Engelking (founder and lead instructor) and Crawford Engelking (AC and heat pump / mini-split technician), supported by experienced associate instructors. Full bios are on the About page.

Do you help with job placement?

The school cannot guarantee job placement, but actively assists students in finding entry-level HVAC careers with local contractors.
